For string players aged 8-12, usually with two or more years of experience: Discover music from the times of castles and courtiers, of Shakespeare, Queen Elizabeth, and Galileo! This music from before the "classical" era is new to most music students today, but is instantly engaging and fun. In a relaxed small-group experience, we'll play beautiful consorts and catchy dance tunes, and we'll experiment with improvisation in the styles of the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
