In this half-day camp for kids aged 6-12, discover the beauty and fun of the Middle Ages! Enjoy hands-on crafts, music, stories, and skits from an age of myth and legend, kings and queens, calligraphy and Middle English.

The workshop is taught by SHAK's director Shulamit Kleinerman with longtime SHAK teaching collaborator, craftsman, and multi-instrumentalist Jacob Breedlove. With a maximum of 12 kids in SHAK's signature "one-room schoolhouse" atmosphere, kids of mixed ages thrive together in exploration of their interests. No special background is required.

Guest soprano Linda Strandberg leads some singing in class. All participants are invited to come onstage to demonstrate material from the class with Shula, Jacob, and Linda for Saturday's family concert of medieval music!
